2030 8th Avenue

2030 8th Avenue is a 355 unit luxury apartment tower consisting of 41 stories featuring panoramic views of Seattle’s downtown skyline, Lake Union, Puget Sound, and Elliot Bay.

Residential tenants will be a short walk from the primary employment centers, gourmet grocery stores, a collection of restaurants, and a variety of retail shops, entertainment venues, and cultural destinations.

The building will be Seattle’s most advanced high-rise residential product and is designed to achieve a LEED Silver rating. 2030 8th Avenue features a strategic unit mix, efficient and well-designed floor plans, contemporary apartment features, high-end finishes, exceptional views in all directions, and sophisticated yet timeless architectural design.

DECON was able to secure the order for the façade connections on this project as the City of Seattle required the anchor channel supplier to meet ACI 318, Appendix D requirements. The JORDAHL IAPMO report provided by DECON fulfilled that requirement.

DECON supplied JORDAHL hot rolled anchor channel types JTA W 50/30 with 2 rebars, JTA W 53/34-550-3A-HDG and JTA W 50/30-300-2A-HDG.
